Just another classic from THE classics. George Martin said that he thought it should have been just one album, I disagree, it is unforgettable from beginning to end. The ballads Julia, Mother Natures Son, the parody of Bungalow Bill & Sexy Sady, & the rock of Birthday, & the best track of Helter Skelter. But then ALL the Beatles work is Classic!!!

One of most progressive Beatles album, certainly. I like a lot, and I don't give a damm if it has a "Clapton" solo. And Helter Skelter is the most "metal" and "crunch" Beatles song. Perfect!!!

I think it's not only the best/or one of the best beatles albums ever, but it's one of the greatest of all time.

The White Album, though a commercial dissapointment, shows extremely tasteful and creative songwriting skills excercised by the Beatles. "Cry Baby Cry" and "Blackbird" are masterful tapestries of songs. The album manages to maintain a hard edge as well with "Helter Skelter" and "Back In The USSR". Maybe not the greatest Beatles album, but definitley a product of greatness.

The whole album is great, their are no weak spots, from Claptons solo on 'while my guitar gently weeps' to the gentle acoustic of 'dear prudence' or the piano on 'rocky racoon', all of this disk is full of great music!
