By far, my favorite Iron Maiden record. Besides the big classics- 2 Minutes to Midnight and Aces High- the album contains some of the best IM moments ever. The title track and Rime of the Ancient Mariner will forever be 2 of their best songs.

Power slave one of the best albums for this band , like "Aces high" which does kick my A**** , "2 minutes to midnite" , "power slave" the title track one of the best iron maiden songs , and "The Rime of the ancient mariner" a Great epic . I also like "the Dullists". this is an awsome record . Recommended for all metal fans out there . Up the irons !!

Look at Adrian's guitar riffs!! Perfect!! Look at the ambientation and lirycs, perfect!! In conclusion, this album is musically perfect, but its only my opinion. Powerslave is not better than TNOTB, but it is imposible...

My joy with heavy metal music started when a friend of mine gave me a casette with The Number Of The Beas of Iron's. It was something like 12 years ago. Since that time each album of this band (but not with the Blaze, I'm sorry) is number one in my list of metal records. Powerslave has one of my fav tracks - Aces High... it simply give me incredible kick in my a**... so, if it gives me a kick, you have to be kicked, too. Don't tell me that you do not have this album - go to the shop and buy it! Now...!

Awesome album. Check out the title track for some interesting harmonic minor riffs and leads. Yep, a metal band with taste. Thats who these guys are.

My Second favorite Maiden Album behind "Numbers". The interesting thing about this group is that they have to hold the record for lineup changes! 4 Vocals, Dave Murray and Steve Harris are the only staples. 3/4 drummers, and the second guitar slot changed 4/5 times. In spite of these changes they managed to maintain that IM sound. Again strong writing, more versatile with Adrian writing and Bruce contributing. Excellent dual guitars with contrasting styles that meshes perfectly. Must get.
