I Think that this is one of the BEST IronMaiden records. I LOVE all the song on this record. Just lissen to Dave Murray's and Dennis Straton's guitar playing, Paul Di'Anno's vocals and how Steve Harris handle his bas, it's exelent. The only bad thing whit this record is the quality of the sound.

This is probably the only band i've ever purchased albums (rememeber those) based purely on the cover art. fortunately they wrote some really good music.steve harris was one the most influential bassist of the early 80's.maiden peaked with their classic albums "number of the beast" and "peice of mind".

Take it from me, someone who never really dug Maiden that much, this album rocks alot hareder than anything they ever did with Bruce. Paul Dianno is a much more rock oriented singer.

NWOBHM! (look it up). These guys are classics. One of the best metal bands ever. This album is one of their better ones, but isn't as good as powerslave.

An intelligent Heavy Metal Band!?? Beleive it or not. I'm a BIG TIME Maiden fan, at least up until seventh sun. This recording is their first and it shows a lot as far songwriting, interesting subjects, great guitar harmony. For those who want to know where it all started, it doesn't hurt to start here.
