Let me start by saying I cant compare this artist to any other. That said, I could rate this CD lower than the first "Greatest Hits" except for a few MONSTER hits on it. All-in-all, its got to have a five, because of the great guitar work on even the songs that are not great. SRV made any song great with the addition of his singular playing style. So, my position has to stand at a five, as will all the SRV albums (CDs). I just can't help it - no fours for SRV when a four might belong to a BB King or EC ambum.

This is a great album, although i think the first Greatest Hits collection is better. this contains awesome tracks like "Riviera Paradise", "Scuttlebuttin", and a cover of Stevie Wonder's "Superstition", performed live

Great soulful playing from SRV. Just some great signature blues from Stevie which range from Hard Rock/Blues/Metal (Voodoo Chile), to Surf Guitar (Pipeline), to Jazz (Riviera Paradise and Lenny). I strongly recommend this CD. It has some great, amazing blues guitar.
