This is a great CD. Guitar One put it as the #1 Blues album in their '200 Greatest Guitar Albums of All Iime' issue. The one problem I have with this record is that they left in all his talking and the crowd's screams. It's unfortunate that BB King really hasn't changed since this album, which was released over 40 years ago. Still, an essential album for anyone, even people who don't play the blues.

You know what's scary? B.B. says that night wasn't really anything special - it was just a fair representation of where he was as a performer at that point in time, on that tour. If this is average, then the man must be terrifying when he's having a particularly "on" night. Get it. Quickly.

Eric Johnson, Robben Ford, Eric Clapton and the guys above can't all be wrong when they say it's one of the best blues album and they're not. Just buy it

If you're gonna buy only one BB King album, conventional wisdom has it that this is the one to buy. For once, conventional wisdom is pretty much right!

This is the one. If you could only have one electric blues recording you'd be hard-pressed to find one that is more exciting than this. simply put, this recording (due mainly to the audience's near hysteria and BB's groovy tone) will make your hair stand up
