Rating: If you want the full deal on BB King, then this is it! With 4 CDs covering his career from 1949 to 1991 (42 years of blues!!), there's not much missing.
In addition to covering all of BB's best known tunes (like "Everyday I Have the Blues," "Rock Me Baby," "How Blue Can You Get," "Sweet Little Angel," "Sweet Sixteen," "Paying the Cost to be the Boss," "The Thrill is Gone," and a million more), this album has some great live cuts and even features tracks recorded with U2 and Bonnie Raitt.
This is another one to buy for your blues-fan friends for the holidays (or get your friends to buy it for you!). |
