(1999) Emd/Virgin #B00000J8XI

Personnel Lenny Kravitz - Guitar, Vocals
Description Lenny explores a deep funk sound on this album. Don't be fooled by the two singles "Fly Away" and "American Woman"; they are the only two hard-rock songs on the album.

This is a decent CD. LK is a time proven artist, and he show his stuff once again on this CD. I read in a guitart mag that he played all the instruments on this CD. Pretty cool.

This album has taken leaps and bounds to new heights of musical exploration from Mr. Kravitz. Keeping in touch with his "Funk" sound, he's explored the extents of his talents and is destined to go even further. Maybe 2 songs aren't to my liking, everything else is great! This is one of those albums where you can just listen to the whole thing, unlike other one hit wonders of now days.

A well paced, somewhat eclectic collection of Lenny Kravitz's best work. It's not so much a collection of funky, guitar fueled jams as it is a songwriter's album. The songs are memorable and well written.

This is a good album. It has nice guitar, and alot of funky tracks. The two rock songs, "Fly Away" and "American Woman" are ok too. Nothing really bad about this CD, just a little boring.
