This album has some real good blues stuff. Otis knows how to play a solo and the songs are pretty rockin'. Check out the cutting guitar intro on "As the Years Go Passing By"!
My only criticisms: Otis doesn't have the best blues voice and there are too many instruments (would have been better without the organ and horns). But on the whole, this is an album with a real good mix of slow blues ("It's My Own Fault", "As the Years Go Passing By") and more rockin' stuff ("That Will Never Do," "Ain't That Good News").
