Let the Good Times Roll

by Freddie King

(1975) Wolf #120 800

Description Live concert recordings of Freddie King from France in the '70s. I don't know why they spelled his name wrong on the album.

This album has a lot of good songs, like "Goin' Down", "Stormy Monday", "Messin' With the Kid", "Let the Good Times Roll", and a good version of "Ain't Nobody's Business". I don't like the first song on the album, but after that it picks up.

Freddie rocks as always, and there are some good long solos. The reason why I only rate this album a 3 is that I personally find the Hammond organ (which is way too audible on this CD)annoying and think it doesn't much belong in the blues. Others might disagree. If it doesn't bother you, then buy this album!
