Rating: Most of the songs in this compendium are remakes of some of the best-known blues songs in history. Clapton's covers here are fairly faithful to the originals, so it's not just Clapton stuff that you're learning if you buy this book, it's the whole history of the blues.
This stuff is good for both intermediates, who can pick up the grooves to the various songs, and for more advanced players, who get a chance to work on soloing like Clapton. |
