This is one of my favorite recent blues albums. The beggining of the first song is one of the best blues album intros that I've ever heard. Most importantly, this album just happens to have a lot of really good tunes on it.
Aside from the fact that Junior Wells rocks on vocals and harp, he's accompanied by a selection of mostly up-and-coming slide guitarists, ranging from the slashing electric slide of Derek Trucks to the elegant National Steel punctuation of Corey Harris and Alvin "Youngblood" Hart. This album therefore also acts as a nice little sampler of what's out there in the world of blues slide.
