Some more of that Scott Henderson......In past interviews, Scott always claimed to be a bluesman first. Not until this album do we really get a glimpse of his prowess in the blues idiom. To be quite frank............AWESOME!!!! His tunes on this album are really comical and tongue in cheek. Besides the great vocals provided by Thelma Houston and Masta Edwards, who are reknown in the jazz world, Scott's playing is very tasteful, bluesy, but at times, OVER THE TOP!! (Track #6)!! Nevertheless- MUST GET!!! |
