This is quite simply the best Megadeth record ever. It is also my favorite record of all time. It is even greater than the mighty Paranoid by Black Sabbath (I know, I feel like a heretic by saying that too, but its true). There is no way this record could have been better, it is a masterpiece. My favorite part about this record is how every song, even Dawn Patrol (a little bass and drum ditty), kicks ass. This is one of those records that you just put on from the beginning and let it play though. The worst aspect of this record is that Dave's vocals can get pretty cheesy at certain points. The guitar playing on this album is as good as it gets if you're concerned about rhythm. Even the lead guitar work is noteworthy. Besides Dave's occasionally annoying voice there is no weak spot on this album anywhere. This album is on its own realm far above any other, I would give it a 6 if it would let me. It's that damned good. No metal fan should be without this. As for all the Metallica fans that don't know much about Megadeth, you simply MUST get this record as soon as you can! You will be blown away.

Absolutely their best. Five stars, what the hell happened to them after this album. They have a few good tracks on subsequent albums but their general direction is radically mellow compared to this. The musicianship on this album shines. Very creative rythmes and flying solos.

This album rules! It is as megadeath as you will get, and is one of the last true thrash albums they made. Its got awesome tracks like Hangar 18 (which is amazing live) and others. This is also one of the most popular megadeath albums, so megadeath fans should already have this one. Even Metallica fans should give it try
