This is a good album, but his version of Bob Marley's "Natty Dread" album is better. he definitely has a style all his own, and when i first heard him i thought it was an organ too. on this album he does a cool cover of Nirvana's "Come as you are"

I dig this album....Charlie plays this 8 string custom thing....3 bass strings, and 5 guitar strings. THe guitar strings go through some kind of effects and sound like an organ, so the band sounds like an organ trio.

The band grooves much more then swings....not a bad thing, really.....the horn player is Coltrane-ish, and the drummer was in the original Primus.....
