I have a Danelectro Hash Browns flanger thats more versatile for guitar, but I got this one for the stereo outputs and its rugged construction. This DOD works well with a bass.
I wish it had 2 separate mono jacks for stereo - has 1 stereo jack for the output. I give it a 4 since it fits my application of being rugged and stereo outputs.
Model Year: 1984

So far I have used it with a parts strat and a short scale electric bass.
Sound is smooth and thick, does not make the "jet plane" sound.
Its easy to get a good sound.
A stereo 1/4" plug is required for using it as a stereo pedal. It can be used in mono as well.
The old DOD pedals are pretty rugged. I have one that I got new in 1985, and this flanger still runs well too.. they quit making this one in 1984 so its 26 years old.
