If you are a fan of Rush, this movie is a necessary evil for your collection. It tells the story of how Alex, Geddy and John Rutsey started the band, recorded and released one album before John had to leave the band. This is followed up by how the band got the rhythm master Neil Peart.

The DVD set consists of two discs - the movie and live performances. Both are just stunning as the journey of Rush is finely told. What I dig the most is how the band discusses the phases of their musical journey. The do this by dissecting their most influential albums and how the bands sound, writing style changed with the years.

A must for Rush fans!!!
