I looked at new Yamahas in the $200 to $300 range, with solid tops.

This one came with a simple cardboard case for $180, in basically new condition. It needed strings, but no scratches on it.

The plastic saddle with all those shims inhibits the tone a bit, but its a good guitar.

UPDATE _ JULY 2010 - I have added a bone saddle by Martin
Price: $180.00
Where Obtained: bought used
Features:
Made in Korea Mahogany back and sides (lam) Solid spruce top, rosewood fretboard.
Playability:
Action is a bit high, stock. Saddle is compensated, but its plastic and has a couple shims under it. I am in the process of swapping to a bone saddle. A good saddle, whether bone, micarta, corian or tusq is a real bang for the buck mod on acoustics - plastic saddle does not perform as well. It plays well in first postion. Should only sing better with a good saddle, and will be easier to play with better action. UPDATE _ JULY 2010 - I have added a bone saddle by Martin
Sound Quality:
It sounds really good considering the stock plastic saddle. Has a good sound, similar to my older Sigma or a Martin. UPDATE - ADDED bone saddle
Durability:
Seems well made. Tuners are Gotoh and stay in tune well.
