Rating:
I chose this guitar for look and feel. But moreso because I wanted to make a statement about not being happy with the quality of the MIM strats. I've had too many MIM strats die for no reason.
Model Year: 2008
Price: $260 (used)
Where Obtained: Local Guitar Company
Features:
Vintage® V6 ICON Series Body: Eastern Poplar Neck: Hard Maple – Bolt On Fingerboard: Rosewood Scale: 25.5"/648mm Frets: 22 Neck Inlays: Pearloid Dot Tuners: Wilkinson® WJ55 E-Z-LOK™ Vibrato: Wilkinson® WVC Pickups: Wilkinson® Single Coil x 3 (N)WVS (M)WVS (B)WVS Hardware: Chrome Controls: 1 x Volume/ 2 x Tone/ 5-Way Lever.
Playability:
I traded an Ash Strat for this guitar... so that has to say something...
Sound Quality:
This serves all the classic roles that a strat can handle.
Durability:
Good hardware, good feel... definately durable. And since it's already "road worn" I don't feel guilty about the occassional scratch.
