Rating:
I think everyone that plays rock rhythm should have one of these guitars in their collection.
Model Year: 1993
Price: $299 (used)
Where Obtained: Local Music Store
Features:
Solid mahogany body Flamed maple veneer over carved top Set mahogany neck Slim-tapered neck 22-fret rosewood fingerboard 24-3/4" scale 1-11/16" nut width Alnico Classic humbuckers Locktone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece Cream body and fretboard binding Chrome hardware
Playability:
The shorter neck scale makes this guitar very easy to play. It takes a long time to find a Les Paul that feels right to you, but one you do... ahhhh... it's so nice.
Sound Quality:
This guitar has that deep sonorous sound that only comes from the humbuckers on a Les Paul. Lusciously warm, dark and rich.
Durability:
An upper end journeyman guitar... should stand up for gigging.
