For its price-range, it would be VERY hard to find any guitar that sounds, play, or looks this good.

This guitar is a keeper!
Model Year: 2006
Price: $0.00 (new)
Where Obtained: eBay
Features:
This dread is made in China. # Solid spruce top finished with a beautiful black cherry sunburst # Flamed sycamore back, and sides # Slim fast mahogany neck with original peghead shape and intricate logo inlay of m-o-p, abalone and burned wood # Unique "Dakota" wooden peghead inlay # Angle-cut mahogany kerfing # W/B/W body binding and black center stripe on back # 14th fret neck/body joint # Solid rosewood fretboard with m-o-p dot position markers # Solid rosewood bridge # Tortoise-style pickguard # Sta-Tite style open-back geared tuners # Gloss Finish
Playability:
This guitar came with very low, fast action and plays quite easily. Even though it's a Gibson clone, this guitar has a very unGibson-like 1-11/16" nut which makes it more of a strummer's than fingerpicker's guitar. TRhe neck does leave room for a wider nut though. I plan to replace the factory nut with one that is a more Gibson-esque 1-23/32"
Sound Quality:
This box booms with nice range overall and very solid bottom-end tones.
Durability:
I haven't owned the guitar long enough to comment on its durability - but the construction seems to be quite professional: no sloppy glue, no sharp or overhanging fret ends, or other signs of sloppy workmanship.
