Not a high gain amp, sounds like using an old tube amp. Am considering getting another one, but not sure if I will get the same one or another model. (Headphone amp.)

(UPDATE! MAY 2010!) Tried with single coil strat-clone. Still reminds me of a TS-10, but does not seem to color the tone too much. You can tell its a strat. Its not a high gain amp, but an OK tube like sound. May scope out another one of these, maybe different version.
Model Year: 2007
Price: $0.00 (new)
Where Obtained: gift
Features:
Headphone amp. Gain, tone ,volume. Headphone out, line in for CD or Ipod.
Sound Quality:
Sound is very tubelike... similar to my old Champ or a TS-10 - responsive to pick attack or rolling back volume control
Ease of Use:
Works a lot like a master volume amp.... need to adjust Gain and Volume. I tend to leave the tone control on 10 and adjust on the guitar. Easy to get good sounds... clean, mild breakup, overdriven.
Durability:
Seems well made. Interestingly enough, its Made in Japan, so I would guess its going to hold up well like most Japanese products. (UPDATE! 2010 - May) Its still holding up. I tried it with my "strat-compatible" and sounds good.
