I would have preferred the RC-50, but at over $600 AUS this is a good option and suits my needs.
Model Year: 2007
Price: $300.00 AUS (new)
Where Obtained: Shire Music
Features:
The RC-2 Loop Station allow you to record up to a maximum of 16 minutes in total on up to 11 different settings. Both AC and battery powered. One feature this products does lack is the ability to trim/edit as recorded section.
Sound Quality:
The RC-2 can be used with guitars or Bass's and sound great on my Fender Blues Junior and Marshall Stack. The RC-2 is great for laying down a quick riff, a blues turn around etc that you are then able to jam against or add more too via the dubbing option. I have found this to be a very very quiet pedal, but it does take some time to get used to the indicator light being on all the time, as you turn the power off by pulling the output lead out. This is one thing I think Roland/Boss could change as when you cut the power the pedal will not allow the signal to go to the amp and having to remove the output lead is slow when wanting to continue playing with out the RC-2.
Ease of Use:
As with most Boss products there is no need to read the manual on the RC-2. There are some small features you need the manual for, but most pedal users will be able to work it out.
Durability:
Its Boss what more needs be said. Heavy metal body will last a life time.
