A basic amp with simple features and clean sound.
Model Year: 2006
Where Obtained: Bonners, eastbourne, UK
Features:
It has one guitar and one mic input. It has an active/passive mode toggle switch and a reverb effect. It has line out and external speaker outputs. There are two volume controls (mic and guitar), treble, middle and bass tone controls and a reverb control.
Sound Quality:
I use this amp with a Yamaha APX-3 electic acoustic guitar. I am a novice player, playing blues, folk type stuff mainly and I think the amp suits me and my level of playing. The amp has a good sound - very clean but suffers from some crackle and hiss (which I think can be easily rectified but haven't investigated yet).
Ease of Use:
I have very limited experience and cannot compare this to other amps. This amp is not programmable and is very simple to use.
Durability:
I'm not sure how robust this amp would be for regular live playing (as I haven't done any) but the cabinet is very robust. I imagine it would be fine for smaller venues - folk clubs etc but I think it is mainly a practise amp.
