I have looked/owned several travel guitars:
This is by far the best of the lot in terms of playability.
Model Year: 2003
Where Obtained: Guitar Center
This 22 fret set neck guitar has a maple body, mahogay neck, and a rosewood bridge.
Electronically, it has an AUX IN, Line Out, Headphones Out, Volume, Bass, Trebel, and reverb.
The pickup is an LR Baggs transducer and active electronics.
This is a full body guitar with a snap on frame - traditional acoustic guitar shape with a single cutaway.
The action is incredible, although some people say that the neck is too narrow at the nut, I find it to be acceptable.
I use this primarily with a set of Shure E3 in ear monitors, but have also played it through a CRATE acoustic guitar and a Yamaha Stagepas 300.
This is great for the travelling musician.
Ruggedly designed for travel, I have had no problems with it dragging it all across the country.
