Martin HD28VR

Acoustic 6-String Guitar

Made by Martin

Description The HD28VR is a vintage reissue of the pre-war D28. I guess I would have to describe it as having the "typical" Martin D-series sound, awesome. And it's just begin to age.

I had previously owned both a D41 and a Custom 15, which was sort of like the HD28VR. I had to part with those a view years ago, and this is the first Martin I bought to replenish my supply.

Built in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. All rosewood back and sides, spruce top. I did not buy a model equipped with a pick-up, though such a model is available for an additional $150-200, I believe.
