Overall Rating:
I've been playing for 8 years and as I student I always work on a budget and was recomended this guitar by a friend with 30 yr experience and many very expensive guitars, which he tends to leave at home to use a Pacifica! And now I recomend it to anyone at any level of experience!
Model Year: 2005
Price: $220.00 Euro (new)
Where Obtained: Music Store(Ger)
Features:
My model has a natural satin finish (nice!). A simple set up with only one volume and one tone controls. 2H set up. All very well made.
Playability:
The action is awsome for my style of playing (blues, rock, alt). Just got it out of the box and fell in love with it. The solos play themselves in this thing. I also own an Aria ProII STG which I thought was good until now, but has now been relegated to rythm work. For this money I think it would be impossible to mach the playability(exept probably the Pacifica 112), and probably even paying quite a bit more!
Sound Quality:
I play it through a Peavey Studio Pro 112, and without any effects I love the clean sound on the neck pick up, its warm, with plenty off body. I prefer the single coil guitars Ive used for the distorted sounds, but I havent really played with it yet!
Durability:
Well built. Not had it long, but I expect it to take a battering and ask for more!
