BP200 Bass Modeling/Effects Processor from DigiTech

November 21, 2001

Salt Lake City, UT -- DigiTech introduced the BP200, a full-featured bass amp modeling/multi-effects bass processor with a built-in expression pedal. This multi-effects processor was designed specifically for bass players.

The BP200 is based on an easy-to-use knob/matrix interface with an intuitive alphanumeric display. The BP200 features 24bit A/D/A converters for full CD quality sound. The BP200 comes in a rugged metal chassis with a sturdy expression pedal. The BP200 has connections for the bass guitar, CD input, stereo output and headphone output.

The BP200 features 12 bass amp models along with several stomp box and speaker models. The unit contains 40 factory-preset settings and can store up to 40 more user-defined presets. Presets can be quickly selected using the BP200's two footswitches.

Featuring DigiTech's powerful AudioDNA DSP processor, the BP200 can process up to 11 studio-quality effects at a time including fretless simulator, chorus, flanger, phaser, triggered flanger, triggered phaser, tremolo, pitch shift, detune, whammy, and envelope. Other effects include a compressor, noise gate, 3-band EQ, and multiple delay and reverb settings. Each of the RP200's effects has up to three parameters that can be adjusted via the front panel knobs or controlled in real time using the built-in expression pedal.

In addition to its modeling and effects capabilities, the BP200 also serves as a useful practice tool. The BP200's built-in Rhythm Trainer provides numerous sampled drum loops to play against and the CD input allows practice with any music.

Suggested Retail: $199.95
