News: Four Bass Pedals Added to DigiTech's X-Series

Four Bass Pedals Added to DigiTech's X-Series

July 11, 2002

Salt Lake City, UT -- DigiTech, a division of Harman International, announced the introduction of 4 new bass pedals to their X Series family of single-effect pedals. Each of the 4 new pedals features DigiTech's multi-effect processing power focused into a single effect in each pedal.

The Bass Multi-Chorus is designed specifically for bass and lets you morph up to 16 bass chorus voices at the same time to create the lushest bass chorusing ever heard from a bass stompbox. It also has built-in voice randomization that increases as you add voices to thicken the sound even further.

The Bass Squeeze is the result of collaboration between DigiTech and dbx to create the a bass compression pedal. Utilizing award-winning dbx OverEasy compression technology, the Bass Squeeze delivers the quality compression for bass.

The Bass Synth Wah is a versatile bass envelope filter pedal with 7 different bass envelope filter types to choose from. This delivers more bass envelope filter effects than any other envelope filter pedal available.

And rounding out the lineup, is the Bass Driver overdrive pedal which features 3 different bass overdrive pedal models to select from and which can be morphed to create new multi-model bass overdrive sounds.

The new X Series bass pedals will be part of DigiTech's successful X Series guitar stompboxes, which began shipping in May and June of this year. The bass pedals are expected to begin shipping in August, with MAP prices ranging from $79 to $99.
