Salt Lake City, UT -- DigiTech, a division of Harman International, announced that their new GNX3 Guitar Workstation has begun shipping to DigiTech dealers worldwide. By combining a hands-free 8-track digital recorder with a Multi-Modeling floor processor, and incorporating a user interface designed around how a guitarist interacts with his gear, the GNX3 becomes the perfect workstation for the creative guitarist.
In addition to DigiTech's amp Multi-Modeling, the GNX3 features 16 guitar amp models, 3 bass amp models, 15 cabinet models, 10 distortion stomp box models, built-in drum machine, JamMan Delay Looper, Whammy, Learn-A-Lick, 44.1kHz sampling rate, 24-bit A/D/A converters, advanced CIT Cabinet Imaging Technology, pickup simulator, and an extensive list of additional studio-quality effects. Hardware features include guitar and XLR mic inputs, analog and S/PDIF digital outputs, full MIDI implementation, and a built-in programmable expression pedal.
The built-in 8-track digital recorder really sets the GNX3 Guitar Workstation apart from other guitar processors. With up to 12 track minutes of on-board recording time (expandable up to a 128MB using a SmartMedia card), the GNX3 is designed to help get your ideas down quickly and conveniently. Recorded tracks can be imported directly in wav-based recording software via a SmartMedia card and DigiTech's card reader, available separately. The GNX3 also comes complete with a Play-with-Content CD that allows you to import audio files so you can create your own jam-along loops, as well as a GenEdit editor/librarian computer software CD for both PC and Mac. The optional FS300 footswitch can also be used to remotely control recording functions.
