Arpanoid Polyphonic Pitch Arpeggiator
The first dedicated compact polyphonic pitch arpeggiator effect pedal for electrical guitar! With eight intuitive and expandable modes, the Arpanoid will work on complex chords as well as single notes in any key. The modes range from one octave down through the root, root through one octave up, one octave down through one octave up and random mode in both major and minor keys. The Step control selects how many notes there are in the sequence, which determines the overall feel and timing of the cycle. The Rate adjusts the speed of the cycle from a slow climb through a fast glide, the center toggle switch changes the direction of the cycle from up, down or up/down and the Wet and Dry controls adjust the levels and the mix. All analog dry signal, true bypass and handmade one at a time in Akron, Ohio.
• The first dedicated polyphonic pitch arpeggiator for electrical guitar!
• 8 Intuitive programs with control over speed, direction and steps
• Adjustable volume for wet and dry signal
• 9v Operation
• Small footprint, measures 4 5/8″ x 2 1/2″ x 2.25″. Top mounted jacks.
• Hand made one at a time in Akron, Ohio.
TWA Great Divide Mk II
Analog, multi-voiced octave divider with Dry, -1, -1.5, -2, -2.6 and +1 voices, 4 selectable Synth voices, Envelope Mode for +1 Octave and effects loop for inserting external effect. Relay True Bypass switching.
Empress Effects Heavy
In this aptly named box, you'll find a huge range of killer high gain tones. From crisp, mid-driven 80's metal, to scooped, modern down-tuned brutality, this little box of sonic mayhem does it all. The two independent channels can be voiced similarly so that one channel can be used as a solo boost, or they can be voiced entirely differently by using the mid range control in conjunction with the 3 position mid frequency select switch.
Add in separate weight controls to shape the low end response of each channel, and a global hi/low EQ section that allows you to fine tune your particular amp and cab combination, and you've got a serious tool to create a supremely heavy sounding rig. Also, an extremely responsive and hassle free noise gate will ensure dead silent operation with even the most obscene amounts of gain added.
Switch Dr. MIDI Controller / Loop Switcher
Price: $425 (retail), $299 (street)
The Switch Dr. is a versatile and simple to program master controller that combines fully programmable MIDI control, true-bypass audio effects loops, and amp channel switching capabilities. The compact yet powerful Switch Dr. design is easy to use and meets all of your most basic needs — from sending a single program change to controlling an entire rig. Estimated shipping in October.
Rotosound Vintage Fuzz Pedal in Limited-Edition Gold
Rotosound is thrilled to announce the re-issue of its legendary Vintage Fuzz Pedal. This reinvention uses the same circuit configuration as the original 1960s design, combined with modern resistors and capacitors.
The original prototype pedals were only ever available in limited numbers and never released for general sale. Nonetheless they were found all over the place — there's even a picture of Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page using one. Rotosound are staying faithful to the original pedal in terms of design and key components continuing to be manufactured from germanium thus preserving the authentic sound. Greater reliability and stability have been achieved with the introduction a true bypass and contemporary controllability.
The new pedal, in a pressed steel box finished in a money can't buy, ultra limited edition gold finish hammer powder coating, brings yesterday’s mojo and tone flavor with all of today's consistency and dependability. Simple and easy to use, yet still with exceptional tone and sustain. NOTE: The Gold version is not available in stores, only through this giveaway!
Candy Apple Fuzz ($235): The Candy Apple Fuzz is an incredibly versatile Germanium hybrid fuzz. It has huge amounts of gnarly raspy chainsaw fuzz, but thanks to the range of the fuzz and nature and the new treble control it comes all the way down to a tasty, dynamic, edge of dirt fuzz.
It has a great octave, tracking the entire neck from a dropped D - D all the way up and off the end of the fretboard. You can find the octave and turn the fuzz down and get an almost clean octave to punch into your favorite dirt pedal for a unique solo sound.
Candy Apple Fuzz is Germanium hybrid and uses a regular 9v input and is almost impervious to where it is in the signal chain so it will go places and do things most other Germ-based fuzzes just can't because of their design. Vintage crazy ripping germ fuzz with the convenience of LED/9v and unrestricted placement.
Arctic White Fuzz ($222): The Arctic White fuzz purrrs like a snow leopard at lower levels and attacks with full vintage growl when pushed. This is the most straightforward of the BearFoot fuzzes — vintage in sound and feel with its own voice and personality - and it's a great recording fuzz as the backround noise found in most fuzzes has been wiped out. 8-18v, volume level, fuzz Level and tone control with just the right amount of treble control to match the Arctic to your little piece of the tundra.
Pink Purple Fuzz ($222): Is it distortion? Is it overdrive? It's the original Fuzzdrive! Pink Purple Fuzz takes all the fuzztones from the 60s and 70s. The crazier octaves and gates and spitty chainsaw tones are in the Candy Apple Fuzz.
The Pink Purple Fuzz houses all the useful daily fuzztones that you will immediatly know what to do with - Jimi to Neil to Trower to Montrose. It blurs the line between fuzz, distortion and overdrive all the way down to just barely gritty edgy tones. It's very high gain and very low 'noise.' The Middle knob is a very versatile EQ control that will take you through a whole range of useful fuzztones. High gain — Low noise — LED — regular 9v adapter — unaffected by pedals around it — and it doesn't give a rat's ass where it is in the chain, unlike most fuzzes.
Nemphasis Liquid Mind
Hear our Liquid Mind, the analog Chorus with an enveloping sound, smooth and never extreme, obtained thanks to the employment of a Bucket Brigade device, accomplished with an accurate LF oscillator and a choice of the best electronic components available.
In addition to the classic controls of DEPTH and SPEED there is also the adjustment of the tone "COLOR" of the effected signal.
The application of the avant-garde design and manufacture techniques and the pursuit and selection of the best components offered by the market, enable Nemphasis products to change the approach and the perception of the sounds defined for decades now and as we like to say: "we didn’t invent the wheel, but we helped to make it rounder."
