The reissue of <em>Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness</em> follows 2011's deluxe reissues of <em>Gish</em> and <em>Siamese Dream</em>, plus last summer's <em>Pisces Iscariot</em>, the band’s third album. On December 4, EMI Music released of the deluxe, remastered version of Smashing Pumpkins' 1995 double album, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. The reissue of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness follows 2011's deluxe reissues of Gish and Siamese Dream, plus last summer's Pisces Iscariot, the band’s third album.

In honor of the latest reissue, we're giving away a Smashing Pumpkins prize pack containing the deluxe reissues of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, Gish, Siamese Dream and Pisces Ascariot!

In addition to the regular edition, EMI Music released a deluxe box set of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. The box set features:

• 5CD + DVD
• Physical tracks: 106; digital tracks: 92
• Original album remastered for the first time
• 64 bonus tracks of previously unreleased material or alternate versions of Mellon Collie-era songs
• DVD featuring live show filmed at the Brixton Academy, London (1996) and bonus performances from Rockpalast (1996)
• Housed in a 12-by-12 lift-top box with magnetic closure, reimagined cover art and velvet-lined disc holder
• Two books containing personal notes, lyrics, new collage artwork plus a Decoupage kit for creating your own scenes from the Mellon Collie universe.

Originally released October 24, 1995, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness would debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified 9x platinum by the RIAA. It yielded hits like “Bullet With Butterfly Wings,” the band’s unlikely first Top 40 hit; “1979” and “Tonight, Tonight.”
