Even though Sting hasn't recorded a new album in three years, his profile hasn't diminished. Thanks to Puff Daddy's 1997 rewrite of "Every Breath You Take" into "I'll Be Missing You" -- which kept Sting's vocals and melody intact -- a new generation was introduced the former Policeman.

Now, new fans and old who've been missing Sting won't have to wait much longer, as the blonde bard's new album, Brand New Day, will hit stores Sept. 28. The album will feature guest appearances by Stevie Wonder, James Taylor and past Sting crony Branford Marsalis.

Following the release of Brand New Day, Sting will hit the road for a brand new worldwide tour, before coming to New York for his New Year's Eve performance at Celebration 2000.
