P.O.D. Ready for Next Album

Summer release planned for P.O.D.
Posted Jan 18, 2001 at 12:00am
P.O.D. have begun pre-production work on their second major-label album. The Christian rap-metal quartet has returned to their native San Diego to begin pre-production on the follow up to their successful Atlantic debut, The Fundamental Elements of Southtown, which was released in August 1999. Sonny Sandoval and Co. are currently writing songs for the new album, which is tentatively scheduled for release late next summer.

Howard Benson, who also produced the band's first album, is back on board to produce. P.O.D. are hoping to enter the studio to begin recording in March.
