Stone Temple Pilots Announce New U.S. Tour Dates

Disturbed opens for STP's fall tour

Following their dates with the Red Hot Chili Peppers (which end Sept. 22 in Seattle), the Stone Temple Pilots will head out on the road with Disturbed for a bunch of radio festivals and one-off shows, starting Sept. 30 in Indianapolis. The dates will serve as the band's warm-up for the Return of Rock tour with Godsmack and Disturbed later this fall.

Though STP recently canned plans for a best-of album, the new material the band had hoped to include, such as "Heed the Water Whisper" and "You Can't Drive Me Away," will likely be road-tested as well.

Stone Temple Pilots tour dates:

9/30: Indianapolis, IN, Deer Creek Music Center
10/1: Atlanta, GA, Lakewood Amphitheater
10/3: Philadelphia, PA, First Union Spectrum Theater
10/4: Wilkes-Barre, PA, First Union Arena
