estate of McKinley Morganfield, aka Muddy Waters, launched the site
early July to serve as a comprehensive collection of news, historical
information, audio clips and artwork on the late blues guitarist and
One highlight of the well-designed, easily navigable site is an in-depth
biography written by musicologist Pete Welding. In addition, Waters'
distinctive sound is described by his guitarist, Bob Margolin, with numerous sound
clips used as reference. A video sample of Waters in concert is accessible from the site, as is a complete
discography, late-breaking Waters news and links to retailers selling
Waters' music and memorabilia.
The site was designed for both educational and entertainment purposes,
