Posted Mar 7, 2000 at 12:00am
Charles Fox Guitars introduced two new Nylon string guitars at Los Angeles NAMM 2000. The CFox H-Nylon string guitar is built for the steel string guitar player who wants the sound of a great nylon string guitar without the limitations of the traditional wide neck. With the narrower 1 13/16” neck, the player needn’t sacrifice any of his/her steel string technique. The H-Nylon features CFox’s new slotted headstock which is now available on all CFox models - steel string or nylon. Pictured is the H-Nylon Sierra series guitar featuring a solid sitka spruce soundboard, solid Indian rosewood body, blue purfling and ebony binding.

The new CFox C (Concert) body nylon string is shown in our Sonoma series and features an optional cutaway, extended fingerboard, slotted headstock and B-Band Core 99 pickup system. This guitar is built for the crossover electric or steel string player who is used to a standard narrow neck. Without sacrificing his/her electric guitar/steel string technique the player can now realize sounds only found on the highest quality classical guitars
