Santana to stay on road until August

Grammy goblin Carlos Santana will take to the road, stadium-style, for twenty-two North American dates this summer, as he continues to plug his Grammy-winning album Supernatural.

Santana will spend April 22-28 in Japan before packing up and heading to Europe through May and part of June. He returns to the States after three U.K. performances in mid-June. The band will then gear up for a July 20 performance in West Palm Beach, Fla., and travel the eastern and midwestern U.S. before wrapping things up on Aug. 22 in Minneapolis. Dates for the second leg of the tour have not been confirmed yet.

Santana's Supernatural has been on an unprecedented run; following a post-Grammy sales spike of over 500,000 units, the album reached 6.5 million copies sold, a record for a Latino artist.
