The song goes in and out of 4/4 time to 7/8 during ("what I call the chorus")of the tune. There are a lot of chords and i could't tell you what the names of them are. The solo section starts with the intro that is basically B minor - E minor - D harmonic minor to A major. the chorus part of the song is basically in E minor but the bass line is chromatic e-f-f#-g so a lot of altered notes are allowed. This E section is pretty open and a mix of E and A harmonic minors are used along with chromatic and diminished scales
