The Texas Tabasco Stomp is just a I, IV, V progression in E. We use it to open shows. On this recording, I recorded the Strat first and then went back and added the Tele. The riffing is mostly a mixture of Em pentatonic and G major Ionian. Mostly I try to just turn my brain off and go for feel.

The equipment used is 50th anniversary Fender Strat vs. a 50th anniversary Fender Tele (a matching pair). The strat was recorded on left side, and Tele on the right. The Strat is played through a '59 Fender Bassman amp (original), and the Tele through a '63 Bassman (white with brownface) through a 1 12" Custom cab with a Kendrick Blackframe. This was recorded at home on Vestax HDR's using an Audio Technica 4033 mic in front of the cabs (this is a great mic for guitars!).
