I am seeing this sort of thing (not specifically what you are speaking of, but similar) going on here already. There are many posts now where a member says, OK, we've don this before, see such and such a thread. This seems to be happening more and more in the theory and instructional categories.
When I say sort of, I don't mean on the order of blues 1, blues 2, etc. I am only saying that the concept is already present and being used in a similar sort of way.
I would see more value in grouping the lessons, so that you could chose not only beginner, but also intermediate and advanced.
Sort of new but related topic. One of the reasons I think that WN threads are becoming increasingly off the guitar topic is that many of the regulars have seen the same subject matter come and go many times now. You can only discuss the same topics once or twice before you become bored. Note that the longest running topics these days are either way off the guitar topic, or they are rather newish discussions on the theory forum. This ought to tell us something.
How many times can you discuss the Gibson vs. Fender vs. other topic. How many times can you say that a lot of rock music is based on the pentatonic scales.
I'm starting to feel like the group that had heard the same jokes so many times that ehey started calling them by number. 17 - Ha ha. 23 - Ha ha. 15 - ..... Hey, you didn't tell it right.
