[VOTE] What to do about the Open Forum?

This is a vote open to any and all members. All the forums are member-only, except for the Open forum which allows non-members to post somewhat anonymously.

If you have an opinion about whether or not this is a good thing, simply vote below if you wish to either keep it, or close it.

What should we do about the Open Forum?

I don't really see much use in it. Maybe at the time (1999) when the internet was in its younger years it was a convenience. But now it just has a past littered with trolling, arguments, insults and everything else that has little to do with guitar. Sometimes conveniences end up flipping to become inconveniences.
