So true bro! A new island Loihi will eventually pop through the Pacific Ocean's surface one day. As for one when - I don't know. According to this website, Loihi will surface in the next 10,000 to 100,000 years.

Let's not also forget global warming. With the north pole melting there is an increase in the height of the waters which is also contributing to the demise of the beaches. To add insult to injury, the state of Hawaii is slowly migrating due to the continental shift. We won't see it in our lifetime but my home will one day be Japan's neighbor however it will probably be underwater.
