There are lots of good tab programs out there. The question is how cheap or expensive?

I use guitar pro which is probably a little more than you need but does its job! Search on the internet and read enough reviews if you think you still want a better idea.

Powertab is free and the folks at Berklee Music suggest it. It does Tab, has midi playback so you can hear what you're doing. Also shows the standard notation.

Just put Powertab in a search engine and it comes up at the site. Easy download and set up.

Oh, and did I mentioin it is free!?
