The saying actually goes : "couldn't _____ his way out of a wet
paper bag". It was originally used to describe fighters who "couldn't
punch their way out of a wet paper bag". But, I think that taking into
consideration the source of this particularly bungled reference, the
Burger King bag is understandable. I mean, you go with what you
know, right?

Yes, what I also know is the term colloquialism. Terms used in
unconstrained conversations, not formal. Most are
regional but can be contorted to just about any use.

That being said, my comment was more of a hyperbole, in either

No not my favorite for solos but with that song he does bring the rock. For all that Neil has gone through health wise and still perform on what I feel borrowed time, he does well.

I myself have never been a fan of his but having started to visit what he offered for music during the 60's - the years I avoided - I am trying to incorporate and understand what Neil was all about.,

Gotta agree there. Not the best vocalist, but a good writer. He did blend well with CSN. Not MY ideal lead guitarist, but that's a matter of one's opinion.

The "Godfather of Grunge" is starting to look like a grungy old man. I liked his early stuff but my interest waned as he became more and more pontiferous. Why do these old men act like they're younger the older and older they get?

Was never a big fan of Young, HOWEVER, he's a very good songwriter, and for some reason, I really love the heavy-rocking-version of "Hey, Hey, My, My" (Into the Black). It's a pretty kickin' tune!

I thought he was a pretty nice fit with CSN, and I like his album "Harvest Moon". Decent album.
