It's bad people. We live near the ocean with the river in our back yard. Hope the sunami isn't going to be bad for us

I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like the wave that came ashore. Even watching half a world away it was intense. A lot of good people lost their lives. They said 1000 bodies washed ashore in one town alone. Wow.

This site provides updated info I think every couple of hours

It's snowing now in the area and freezing weather. Recue workers from around the world now are in the area and supplies are slowly being brought into the area. Roads are still impassable in the mountain areas because of landslides and snow. Another earthquake today didn't help. This one was more closer to Tokyo.
