Stolen Guitars, looking everywhere for help - reward offered

Sorry for this to be my first post, I wish I was coming here under better circumstances...

My house (in St. Louis) was robbed on Sunday Feb. 6, and among other things, three of my guitars and a banjo were stolen. None of them have any significant monetary value, but the banjo and one of the guitars belonged to my grandfather, and they're examples of very few tactile connections I have to the man I never met but has been a major influence on my life.

The banjo is a cheapo Japanese Sovereign, but the guitar is a one-of-a-kind custom, built in prison in the '50s and given to my grandfather by the builder.

I won't go in to too much detail, but if you can help at all, please check this ad I just posted on my local CL for details. And please contact me directly at that email address (stolenstlguitars@gmail.com) if you can offer any assistance.

Again, I apologize for the boderline-spam, but I'm heartbroken over this loss. I'm just trying to get word out everywhere so I have a chance of recovering that guitar.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Sorry to hear of your loss Alex. I too like brother Warren have been victims of stolen guitars. Warren was lucky as many years later IIRC one of them was returned.
