When was the last time you cried after hearing a song

For those that are prone to emotion, when was the last time a song really got to you and made you shed tears, be it tears of Joy or sadness. The last song to do this to me was 'River of Tears' by Eric Clapton, it was just a beautiful song and it just makes me tear up every time I hear, I don't bawl or anything but it still get's to me.
I remember listening to Mountain Jam and feeling the same way only it was pure joy that something could sound so beautiful.

The background music of the last scene of "City Lights" where the blind girl touches Chaplin's hands does it all the time.

Well, I guess I never really cried from a song, however, sometimes if I listen to "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" (Gordon Lightfoot), it'll kinda get me feeling a bit sad. True story, and a very sad one, at that.

That's a classic Lightfoot sad song. The thing that makes me cry most these days are those kids and supposed adults who post Unwrapping Videos on YouTube. One would think taking something out of a box was elementary but then again who knows?

I've never actually cried, but the whole Dinosaur Jr. album Your Living all over Me, is one of the most emotionally powerfull albums I've heard.

Reading some of the replies to these posts, it is really up to the individuals experience to the music that starts the tear ducts going. Music has the distinct power to take you somewhere other than the present, and music that strongly relates to anyones past can bring emotion. "Crash" by Dave is one that I have been choked up on recently, circumstances being as they are, that song takes me to a better place, and somewhere I can't go again.

Wednesday, watching The West Wing. They had an a capella mens choir from Yale singing Christmas carols. At the end, they were doing "Oh, Night Divine" which is a favorite of mine. Sometimes, the songs that make us cry will bring home the message of the story, that's why producers spend so much on soundtracks. But this song was not a part of the story line, it was just beautifully done. I don't remember what was going on on the show at the point, but I do remember an amazing rendition of a beautiful song.

the entire ( ) album from Sigur Ros, it flows together like one giant song, and the fact that the music itself can raise so many emotions is simply amazing
