It just came in the mail today. I probably wont get to it right away. The Ipod is still working, it just won't hold a charge very long. We'll see how it goes......

I guess if you're adept at electrical repairs a DIY kit would be the easiest and cheapest choice, but if you're not I think that the $59 out-of-warranty iPod replacement would be the way to go.
