The Mackie's sound good outdoors for sure. I like the original take on Mary Jane's Last Dance as well. Very unique.
The second vid is just superb! It felt sort of Van Morrison-ish. Nearly impossible for me to stop tapping my foot to the groove.

Watched the first one...second one's playin' now.
Cool stuff, Tracy! Ya'll been playin' together for a few years now, haven't ya? Nice tight sound, I dug it. Left a short comment on the tube....
I just recently gave the youtube thing a try (see homepage). The sound doesn't come out anywhere's close to as good as what yours did...what kind of vid camera are you using that allows a mic to be hooked up to it? I gotta have one.

Edd, it's just the built-in mic on the camcorder. Those little condenser mics are something else these days, ain't they? :) |

Yo Ma, Cool vids! I really enjoyed the 2 beat feel on the Petty's MJ's Last Dance. I love the voicings that the guitarist used on the clean sound as it truly fit the 2 beat feel. The second feel made feel like I was at a laid back jazz club in the 50's and I wasn't even born yet at that time. Great sound, great feel - keep it up! |

And what you can't see is what we use to tilt back the monitors: Rolls of duct tape! :) |
