Does anybody know any good sources of information regarding finishing? I need to know about various types of finshing for a college assingment. Oil, french polish, cellulose, mellamine, polyester & nitrouse laquers etc etc.

Anything & everything would be great! Thanks.

You may also want to visit a local library and look at some woodworking books. You should be able to find a good reference there on finishes.
That would give you another source in addtion to those based on the net.
